Why do you think that's so? Could it be b/c the fruits/vegetables are not grown with pesticides (linked to cancer)? Or the meat is not injected with steriods or antibiotics? Or do you trust companies like Monsanto to not put anything unsafe on your veggies?

It's just so fucking expensive. It's cheaper for me to go out on Lake Michigan, troll for king salmon all day and land a 15-pounder then it is to buy it at Whole Foods.

I gauge it by the quality of the lox. A good food store has good quality and assortmeent of lox (and all fish for that matter). Whole Foods has a great assortment of wild and farm raised lox. And the pre-cooked foods (which is what I have for dinner almost every night) is much better than anything else available. I'm the sort of person who wants a little bit of everything on the menu. WF is the only place where I can do that right at the deli counter.

Poor lox selection is a deal killer for me. What drives me nuts here in Philly is that there's not a good NY quality Jewish deli in the whole fucking city. The Jews in this town have really let this slide. Deplorable.

I don't care about $ when it comes to good food. You eat bad shit, you'll feel like shit.

If you haven't seen it yet, the South Park where they tear Paris a new ass is really funny. Problem is, Paris probably thinks its a tribute of some sort. Why my gripe about Paris? It ain't that she's a rich vapid twat... No, my issue is that her face is ugly, and she's fucking up what's considered attractive in this country. I wan't my MTV beach house dancers, models and Hollywood trash to look like Angelina or Andrienne Lima, not some air brushed, pseudo-anorexic chick who looks like she's got a touch of Marphans. Gisele is about as gangly as I go... Paris looks like a fucking Preying Mantis with tits. And will somebody please pull her fucking eyes apart... the fucking Charlie Brown look suits no one. You could put billboards on the sides of her face between her eyes and ears.

My MIL brings Philly deli when she comes here. Not lox so much but other smoked fish, and corned beef, to hear her you can only get decent corned beef in Philly and NY. Maybe you're in the wrong places?
