The mucous plug has to be expelled before all the "water" comes out.

Could it ever shoot out and hit someone in the face? That would be funny.

I would bet $100 that if they studied C-section rates, lawyers would rank at the absolute tip-top. RT, you've got mad MedLine skillz; wanna find out?
No, no, no. If we're going to start talking C sections, we're several levels beyond mucous plugs and linea negras. You're talking about a large slice through the middle of a major muscle, permanently weakening that muscle and leaving internal scar tissue (that you can feel from the outside) in the majority of cases.

Anyone want to talk episiotomies?

Seriously, we're all done now.

So I was at Nordstroms the other day and all the Juicy Coutour stuff was in pink terry cloth. It looked like Barbie had gone mad in the bathroom.
Pink terry cloth sandals and pink terry cloth purses. Odd no?

Healing is apparently faster if it tears naturally rather than being cut.

Yeah, that very small feeling of envy when I read about the joys of pregnancy sex earlier today has pretty much been quashed.

I brought junior mints into the delivery room and offered them to all of the doctors and nurses. No one laughed. Humourless fucks!

Women who work in sales appear to be at the tip-top.
