Things that suck
Communicating with the reasonable husband of a lunatic wife and reaching an agreement with the incredibly personable husband and having the lunatic wife call her real estate agent who talks to your real estate agent who calls you and gives you a version of facts which is so far from the truth you would laugh if you weren't hormonally inclined to get very upset.
And then having the lunatic wife call her agent back, who talks to your agent, who calls you, and reports that lunatic wife decided to "drop the whole thing," without any admission of the fact that she's a fucking freakhead and that her husband told her to chill the fuck out, she got it all wrong, but rather with an attitude that she is being a bigger person by letting the whole thing go, when the whole thing was all in her head anyway. |

The point is that the field will essentially be the same at the new ballpark. At least it isn't completely new in every regard. TM |

In Season 2, the John Mayer/Music Experiment skit actually did make me start crying the first time I saw it. When he pulls out the megaphone . . . cmon man. That said, for what is by far the best selling TV show on DVD of all time, I could see why one would expect better things on occasion. |

I woke up this morning at 3:30 a.m. and was coughing, so I went downstairs to load more CDs on my iPod and to play some party poker. I entered a $55 No Limit tournament with 90 players. Within the first 15 minutes I'd worked my stack from $1,000 to $1,800, and then got dealt AJ of diamonds one from the cut-off seat. An early position better raised the blinds (10-20) to 75, and I called, as did the button and the small blind. The flop came 10-6-2 of diamonds. Preflop raiser bet $175 and I flat-called, as did the small blind. The turn came another 10, preflop raiser bet $250, I rasied to $500, and the small blind went all in. Preflop raiser folded and I called. The fucker had 10-6 suited. So that left me with about 700 in chips. I worked it up to about 1800 and got busted out with about 30 people in the tournament. I was SB and had J-10 suited. I raised the BB and he put me all in with 3-3. I called and he flopped a set. Awful. Back to boycotting internet poker. Maybe I'll go to Commerce this afternoon - I won $800 there last week playing 9-18 (when really I just went to watch the Tyson fight). |
