If by saying "look in the mirror" is an unprovoked attack - you're going to have to explain that to me.

And why are you putting words in my mouth? Did I call you Rush? Did you criticize people with Parkinsons? Because as a person who worked with people with Parkinsons for 3 years attempting to get guardianships for them, you're crossing the line.
I've never attempted to get guardianship for anyone, especially no one with Parkinson's. to the contrary I've have denied paternity (cue Penske) on several occasions. Again, you are attacking me for something I did not do. Why are you so unhappy and attack dog-like all the time?

As a general rule Canadians love their country -- especially educated ones. They totally buy into the patriotic crap (even though in many ways, the US is much better in the ways that Canadians think that Canada is better).

This brought tears to my eyes.........

Isn't there an important difference between competitive leagues, like the one that sent Michael Jordan home, and the leagues set up just to get kids exposed to the sport?
Absolutely. Do we know which one he's in? And even if he's in the one that is supposed to just get him exposure, is he not getting playing time because he doesn't care, is lazy or won't put down the Yodels?

I guess it can go either way, but the threat to sue and the lack of facts pointing towards how unfair the coach is being lead me to believe that his bench time is deserved.

This is just a dumbass observation, but just about every educated American that I have encountered since I moved here doesn't seem to like his country too much. I find it weird. Is it just to distinguish yourselves from the "ugly American"?

Every country has dumb, coarse people. I don't think there are any more of them per capita here than say, Australia, or England, or France or Germany or Switzerland.
I love my country.

I've got a few problems with Slave's country. I'm glad I don't live there.

3.

althought I must admit str8 seems to deny the quality of Canaidan lawyer TV dramas and also the talents of transplanted Michigan born actresses now working out of Toronto. Perhaps some small percentage of Canadian, even educated ones, self-hate? and perhaps Sebby should limit his tirade to the small percentage of parents who mis-behave? although if he does punch a member of that small percentage it then grows- whoa- heavy?

I don't watch it, but I thought that everyone generally agrees that the William Shatner lawyer TV drama is pretty good if only for the Canadian TV lawyer.

Please take this to another board. My dad has Parkinsons. I come to this board to get away from debates that are actually on things I care about.
