But a year from now, two years, if she has returned to her cowlike shape it just strikes me that Jenny is going to have trouble selling new contracts. Maybe that's true with any celebrity weight losers, but at least with Anna Nicole they kept quiet until after she actually lost.

I would guess that their contract calls for big payments to her that she only gets if she loses weight and keeps it off. Kirstie hasn't worked in a long time, so they'd have her by the short hairs on this. Assuming they can find them through all the folds.

Okay, because I is ignant, I googled this, and was greeted with this photo.

While I can see the benefits of breathing more freely, this does not seem like it would be a very pleasant experience.

Three questions:

1. How far up into your head does the water get?

2. Does it go in one nostril and out the other?

3. Do you have to witness a lot of uh, for lack of a better term, junk pouring out of your nose?

ETA: I apologize to those for whom it is lunchtime. Fringey, you may find it in your heart to forgive (or thank) me later.

It doesn't go too far into your head. It goes in one and out the other. Yes, junk comes out if you don't use it regularly. If you use it every day, you generally won't have junk in your nose, but if you have a cold, it's great. Gets rid of everything much better than a regular decongestant.

The feeling is not uncomfortable. Maybe the first time it feels odd, but then you get used to it. At least that was my experience.

How'd you explain the dog collar to the old lady?

Is this picture from a "Before They Were Stars" segment on Reese Witherspoon?

I am intrigued by this Neti. It would be nice to get rid of the dark circles under my eyes that I've had since kindergarden. Do you know if it gives relief from environmental allergies? My sneezing season is fast approaching.

And can you do it in the shower? It looks messy.

ETA and while we are on alternative medicine, the head of my bed currently is on the south end of the room, and the door at an angle in the northeast corner. I don't sleep well. Given that I would have to move the INCREDIBLY heavy bed and dresser, should I try moving the bed so it is on the opposite wall?

Tyrone Slothrop 03-03-2005 01:29 PM

happy hockey news?

According to ESPN, some investors have made a bid to buy the NHL and all 30 teams for $3.5 billion. The league is playing it cool:
  • "When someone's offering over $3 billion, we felt we had an obligation to the board to have them, at least, hear it from the proposed purchaser," Daly added.

Will this deal ever make it over the blue line?

I think you should. Moving heavy furniture always makes me tired.

You want some Feng Shui "Art of Placement?- push the bed up against a wall, then move in a Nordic Track or an elliptical or a treadmill into the space.

Then 3 hours before bedtime "place" your ass on the machine and workout for a half hour. You'll be sleeping better in no time.

I can see Reese, but my first thought was "marriage to Ben Stiller has really driven Christine Taylor off the cliff."

Wondering what RP's been up to when she hasn't been posting here? Wonder no more.
