Campari and soda?

It's like you're my twin brother or something. Minus all the patent stuff, and with more cooking skill, but less hops.

If this is true, then how does one reconcile the foundation of thought underlying the phrase:

I actually think that, despite the word "punch" in the name, with the addition of Calvados, this is a drink that will carry you through the fall and into the winter.

I think you can answer this. You're just not trying. (Maybe too much erotic auto-asphyxiation?)

The fish understands that something quite wrong is happening environmentally, but does not understand that the problem is that it is no longer wet.

Unless it is one of those fish that occasionally leaves the water, and therefore has the basis for comparison between wet and not-wet. But that fish does not really sync with the foundation of thought underlying the above-mentioned phrase in that, for such a fish, being out of the water is just a momentary break, a respite from wetness, iyw.

Now that is a trendy drink I could see myself sampling.

But the character is about more than that. He can rage about all kinds of nonsense that his narcissistic character cares about (Bears, etc.) and it'll be funny.

To add to Jack's argument, I think Colbert's much better positioned than Stewart going forward. Stewart's bits were built around the notion that DC was hopeless.

Though generally speaking that has been, will be and is probably eternally true, at the moment, it's probably not going to be a popular form of humor for the sector of his audience that takes itself, and its politics, a lot more seriously than it ought to.

Colbert's more of a clown and he does a brilliant job of satirizing both the left and right in a fashion that keeps both on edge and wondering whether they're more in on or the butt of the joke, but always feeling like they have to smile and play along.

On another note, are we sure the Pisco Sour is dead? I am getting really thirsty....

This debate is silly. Obama may have vision and a conscience, but he still has to govern, a process that has oft been compared to making sausage. He and his administration will fuck up a lot, the republicans will throw up stupid and partisan obstacles, and Nancy Pelosi will still be a wackadoo.

Both Colbert and Stewart will have grist enough for the mill.

Although, over the next few years, what the LeBron needs to get to the top might get to be even less, and Walsh wil have some time to prove himself.

This assumes he won't be talking to Bosh and Stoudemire come 2010. Sell all you want right now. When the time comes, everyone will know exactly who wants to play with Lebron and where.
