Neither can I. It was getting serious when my "fat suit" was fitting just fine. Problem is, I only have one such suit, so my wardrobe was pretty limited. If I didn't do something quick, I was going to have to start wearing my pajamas to work (or sweat pants -- either way, really).

To complicate matters, I then broke my leg (stress fracture), and wasn't going to be able to do much exercise. So, I really had to start watching what I ate. The sugar had to go, but I'm back to my mid-season form. I should throw the fat suit away.
Send it my way (hi Thurgreed!)

I actually worked with a partner at an internship many years ago who wore an ascot occasionally. It was fucking hysterical. He thought it was great. Such a pompous ass.

I saw a guy on TV the other day with a full spread collar. Full spread. It looked odd. How do you feel about the collars with the corners notched off?

Nate, that traitor, wears these all the time. I don't care for it.

The rounded collar is only ok if you're a first round NBA draft pick and don't know any better. That thing Nate's wearing is something I've never seen before.

Even so, I never did put sugar in my coffee (even before I had to be careful what I eat). If I'm at home, I put low-carb milk (with extra calcium for my geriatric bones) in it, but otherwise, I go black.
Americans in general use way too much sugar in their coffee. Good coffee shouldn't require very much.

The old lady's been making Starbucks at home using 2/3 the water usually used. A 16 glass of this stuff will make you feel like you're tweaking.

That explains why Americans are so fat notwithstanding their penchant for drinking their coffee on the go, rather than lingering over a cup while sitting down at a cafe, as civilized people do.

ETA: I was recently told that Splenda causes sofa king we todd dation. True? False? Disturbing news like this makes me glad that I'm already a fat retarded bastard who puts sugar in his coffee.
I think these rumors are being perpetuated by the folks at Equal and Sweet N Low, because one of the guys at work said his mom, a nurse, said that it's because they use bleach in the processing or something like that.
I just use vanilla in my latte.

Oh yes, those stupid, fat, over-sugaring, uncivilized, coffee-on-the-go Americans. What a bunch of boorish louts they are. God damn rednecks. I'm glad we are not them.

That episode was the only time Bryant Gumble didn't seem like a smug, smarmy, self-righteous ass. And he was actually funny.

I've been trying to expatriate myself for years. It's not easy. I see uncivilization everywhere, and I live in a big city.

Can one be both civilized and immature?

Why should I be ashamed to admit that I like this catchy little pop-rock tune? I know this confession will be met with derision by the Str8-types of the Lawtalkers Fashion Tips Chatting Board for Lawyers, who cannot be bothered to even read the review of a song unless it is some white label mash up of an obscure electronica-Bhangra fusion and an alienating underground hip hop cut (the Danger Mouse re-mix). But some of us just like music that makes us feel good when we listen to it, regardless of how "hipster" or "cool" it may make us look when it flashes across our iPod display.
Judy holiday's greatest hits is one of my top 5!

Yeh, but Gumble was a good interviewer. They should bring him out of mothballs and give him all of Aaron Brown's shows at CNN.
