Look at the drugs the govt lets you have - alcohol, painkillers, anti-depression meds. None open your mind worth a damn. In fact, they do the opposite, and have the added benefit of making Big Pharma richer and richer.

And acid and shrooms, which are not addictive and will not physically hurt you (to the asshole considering doing so, don't even think about posting some horseshit about flashbacks - it's crap and we both know it), are schedule one drugs. Why? because they give the user insights into the preposterous nature of everything going on around him.

This whole life is a big goddamned joke. All you have is the fun you have and the people you love. the rest is shitty nonsense - you're playing a game - a part on a stage. The givt doesn't want you to realize that. Better you stay stupid and drunk and think the accolades the system offers are rewards worth chasing.

The govt is like partners trying to hang the carrot of partnership before you. Once you know its a fool's prize most people don't get, you won't play the game. They can't have that.

The last time I saw several folks on acid, they railed against the "preposterous nature of everything going on around them" by climbing a five foot fence fence into someone's private yard, shedding their clothes and climbing a tree.

Dangerous? Perhaps not. Amusing? For me, sure. For the guy who owned the house? Prob not. But is this the type of behavior we really want to encourage?
