Since you questioned whether I was seriously interested in whether you think the Great State of New Jersey is stalking you (a little presumptuous, don't you think), I wanted to remind you and the rest of the FB that I never upbraid anyone publicly for anything that falls within my moderating duties. If we had a problem, I would have told you privately.

I Ain't a Bitch, Punk

The results are in. You are certifiably:

22% bitch!
which is lower than the worldwide average 38%

How others compare:
1% (same as you)
8% (less bitchy than you)
91% (bitchier than you)
----------------------------------------------

In other news, has anyone else seen "Karen Sisco"? I caught it this evening, and it's pretty good.

In other, other news, New Jersey, lay off Sligo if you know what's good for you. Don't make me get all William Butler Yeats on your ass. I got a posse of hard-core loco poets who will not hesitate to get medieval on your ass.... And some of them know Gaelic and Old English and shit.

Outing the Daintiest Petunia & Edie Brickell

How soon until the board learns that the poster known as The Daintiest Petunia is not even a lawyer, but just an underemployed housewife brought to the Board by a shared fascination with Siegfried & Roy?

Myself, I'm fascinated with how Edie Brickell looks exactly the same as she did 14 years ago. Does sleeping with Paul Simon keep you youthful-looking?

As a regular poster of stuff on the politics board, you should know that in my world, dreams are all nightmares.

Hello

leagleaze 10-16-2003 07:50 AM

It's ok after all ncs, he did try to kill himself. He just failed.

"As the ferry docked, Richard Smith, the ship's captain, ran home where police later found him, according to law enforcement sources. A neighbor told CNN that an ambulance took him away on a stretcher.

According to a local government source and a police source, Smith had tried to commit suicide by slitting his wrists and using some sort of pellet or BB gun.

"He is out of surgery and has been admitted into a surgical intensive care unit," said Jim McMahon, a spokesman for St. Vincent's Hospital, shortly after midnight Thursday. "He'll be monitored very closely until such a time as he can be moved into a regular medical unit."'

Your posts are so friggin tiresome that you could only make the current situation worse.

Thanks.

New Jersey

I heart (yes, paigow, I know that 'heart' is your thing. Consider it an homage) New Jersey!!!!!!!!!!

But you seem so down. Where's the Garden State I have come to know and love?

Edited to add: I should have noticed NJ had 14 posts. Though better, it still sounds as if my fave sock has fallen on hard times.

unfortunate reality TV

note to Paigow-for the next little bit be careful with the TV and commercials. I saw a John Basedow commercial and he seems to have dyed his hair yellow. Maybe he heard your criticism and just thought he needed to do something. Anyway its not a good look. There's a stringness to the hair that really clashes with the body. His head says herion addict and the body says whatever it says.

If he bugged you before it'll be much worse now.

It was late, I'd been drinking, so its possible I imagined it, but I don't think so....

Thanks, leagl. THat does make me feel a little better. Maybe I'll just send an e-mail to cnn after all. Also, for those who wonder, high doses of Tums, aspirin and Zyrtek paired with vodka shots result in a sort of fun "loopy" feeling. I may have found a new high!

Please Help

I know some of you are dog lovers, and I have, um allergies so. . .

If any of you are interested in a free dog, please let me know. It
belongs to a neighbor of mine and is house trained and friendly but it makes my
neighbor's wife uneasy. The dog seems to stare at her quite often,
especially when she gets out of the shower. She finds this very peculiar but realizes
that it could be her imagination. A photo is attached.
