Me: Yeah. So? Him: Did she sit down next to you? Me: Yes. How did... Him: Did she offer to give you her number to get together? Me: Yes! Him: You fucked up. She wanted to screw. She didn't want even a short-term relationship. Over here, that's the equivalent of a girl walking up to you and grabbing your cock and saying, "Fuck me." Me: Crap. TM |

TV question
Does anyone know why my TV picture is all of a sudden fucked up? It's a newish (year old) flat screen. I went away on vacation last week, and when I came back, when I watch a non-HD channel, if there are words at the bottom or top of the screen, they get cut off. For example, if I am watching my beloved Pat Kiernan on NY1, not in HD, I cannot see what temperature it is outside because it is cut off. Also the top of his head is cut off. (I can still hear his dulcet tones reading me "In the Papers" though, thank god.) If I watch him in HD, there are bars on each side of him because I guess NYI does not do HD very well.
Does anyone know what I am talking about and why this might have happened and how I can fix it? I've gone to "picture options" on my TV and scrolled through them and none of them fix the problem. It's on 16:9 right now. |
