Ned and the guys must have felt pretty foolish when they found out they were just in a city park.

This is the scariest part:

Quote:

The study, published in the Journal of School Health, said one-third of the sexually active students reported engaging in vaginal or anal sex without a condom within the past 3 months and one-fourth had four or more partners, the study said.
A third with no condoms, not to mention 4 or more partners at such a young age. Oh my.

One of my neighbors is a pediatrician and age 12 is when she has the HPV vaccine talk with the parents. She might have to move that up a year or so.

my wife had a job to fix a boutique pasta sauce label. the base design was a baby sitting in a big pot, with a wooden spoon in it's hands. the background colors suggested fire, reds and yellows. Would the prudent professional suggest a design change, or simply work to improve the design as instructed?

Not surprised in the slightest. Last year I rode up to Austin for Planned Parenthood Lobby Day with a friend of mine who is an adolescent pediatrician. My friend told me about a 12 year old patient of hers who had absolutely no idea how she got the worse case of herpes she's ever seen. Patient's only explanation was, "They told me condoms didn't work."

Made me want to forcably assault every advocate of "abstinance only" education in the state.
