I want a riot of my own.
I distinctly remember liking The Clash way more that Give Them Enough Rope. But right now GTER is my prefered Clash album, by far. Have I mellowed?

Help. Me.
Pick one: Paris, Belgium, or Ireland.
Where should I go this summer? And should I mention that this is to further feed my obsession to see Bruce ? |

I wouldn't particularly recommend Dublin (assuming that's where you would go) if you're just going for a few days and don't plan to get out of the city at all. Well, I guess I might if the craic and the black stuff appealed to you enough (it does to me), but the city itself isn't that exciting. Although I guess looking at the tour dates, maybe he isn't playing Dublin. Limerick, Cork and Belfast seem to be the options. As to the first, I'll just say: I spent four weeks in Ireland in 2010 and drove through but did not stop in Limerick. I just didn't see much appeal in it. I spent a little time in Cork, which was a perfectly fine small city, but I don't think you'd want to camp out there for too long. If you do go, head west instead of immediately north. I like Belfast a lot, though, although to me it's getting somewhat less interesting as it gets more peaceful. You could do a nice trip around Belfast, Derry, Giants Causeway and the north/east coast. Whereas Paris works for the exact opposite. Whether you've never been there or are a regular, you can spend a few wonderful days in Paris and not feel like you missed something better by not leaving the city. If I was doing a long weekend, it would be hard to beat Paris as an option. Although looking at the tour stops, Rome or Munich would also be strong contenders for that sort of trip too. I don't know anything about Werchter, Belgium. I wouldn't go too far out of my way to get to Brussels, but Brugge and Ghent are on my list of places I need to return to as an adult (went there as a kids). Anyway, that's a long was of saying I'd probably pick Paris |

I almost said Vienna or Prague until I realized that those shows were last year. |
