Apparently, I wasn't too thrilled with the whole baby brother idea (I was 20 months) and I tried to take him out with a toothpick. I only got his eye. My mom said she heard a blood curdling scream from the baby and there was blood everywhere. Fortunately, my dad has four first cousins who are ophthalmologists, so the baby was immediately taken care of and his vision is better than mine. I don't think I was left alone with the baby very much after that.
Were you a cat in a previous life?

Very funny, tiger. See you at the Mensa meeting? I'll be wearing those boots.

Anyone remember the name of the videogame (first generation, I'm sure) that had an alien (with a giant bulbous head, natch) that said "So, a creature for my amusement. Prepare for Battle!" at the beginning of the game? I remember the lines, but not the game (despite my great memory training in days of yore).

I don't know how that would work for a female . . . I can see where less gets off using one of the eyesockets, but what would I use? A nose doesn't seem sufficient.

Well, it was a line from "Angels in America," which, BTW, I am shocked there has been no discussion of. It cracked me u at the time, but I'm getting bored with it. I'll be updating shortly.
I really enjoyed it. I was not in on the discussion when it premiered, since I had not yet seen it.

It was really well done . . . the acting was exquisite.

It was very painful to watch at times because it reminded me of the bad old days of the disease. We lost most of our family friends and my beloved nanny early.

Basically, the play was a brilliant piece of art and the movie translated it beautifully.

Rampage was a really cool idea, but boring as shit in reality. Did I miss some secret level on which you did something other than punch immovable objects?

A.P.B. rocked. I'm getting misty with nostalgia. I don't think the best part was that you beat the shit out of perps to get them to confess on the "confess-o-meter" before the Commish nailed you for brutality. Oh, no. I think the best part was that you were allowed to crash into other cars, as long as you had your siren on.

I liked that you could get an extra life on "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" by whipping the heroine with your bullwhip, but everything else about that game sucked ass.

Confidential to TM: Zaxxon was way cool, but Elevator Action looks like a disappointment, given the name. Give me Leisure Suit Larry anyday. Or rather, give me the skanks be obviously banged off-camera.

Darlin', you're confusing the subject of your flirtation again.

Remember, Wonk is the round-countenanced tax lawyer who resembles a blue button. I'm the one with the fur, tail, martini, and killer sound system.

And leave the boots. You know they get in the way.

Classic Video Games

Speaking of classic video games, I think some of the chain stores have been advertising what looks like the rebirth of the old Atari 2600 with a bunch of the original games, except there's not much more to it than the joystick, and the price (including however many games are bundles with it) is like $20.

Anyone seen these, or am I hallucinating again?
