Financial Markets Caution

There is a lot of very odd high volume quant trading activing going on. It is likely to lead to extreme market volatility due to a bunch of quants being forced to exit similar trades at the same time, as we've seen twice now in this bear market. I don't have any advice, except to be careful.

That looks truer, but the dude's (whatever his name is) Wiki page didn't show him dancing with her.

It's just this season so maybe Wiki is behind. That picture was a week ago Monday. And yes, I am even more of a geek for knowing that and that they had just finished the Lindy hop.

Huh. I would have gone with the Bony Morony, but I guess the Lindy hop works as a punchline, too.

The Navy is under Fugee's command.

Quote:

U.S. Navy SEALs train regularly to mount such operations, which in this case would require extreme stealth, analysts said. A SEAL team would likely mount a nighttime assault from the sea, they said. Helicopters and boats would be too noticeable, so the SEALs would arrive by swimming and possibly with the aid of submersibles that would allow them to move clandestinely through the water, said Roger Carstens, an expert on U.S. Special Operations forces and a nonresident fellow at the Center for a New American Security.

This factoid increases the appeal of this model considerably. Many, many thanks.

Or, as they say in La France, up yours!

Yep... now I am not sitting back there on a road trip, but we are a tall family so me fitting back there without being in pain was a must criteria.....

Country or family

Japan deports parents of 13 year old child who entered the country on fake passports. They have given the girl the option of staying and she took it.

Can someone explain to me why this is unfair on the part of the government? They are not forcing the family to split. She has every right to leave with her parents. Is it because the Phillipines sucks that this is seen as unfair? If this family was British, would there be any outcry at all? I don't get it.

Woman jumps into polar bear habitat during feeding time.

Uh...her punishment should be an interview directly after she was saved asking her only one question that she must answer before receiving treatment for her wounds: What the fuck did you think was going to happen?

No it should be: How are you going to pay for the rescue attempt, cash or secured credit card?
