Of course tickets are sold out. Ticket brokers don't have tickets for it because it is not your typical ticket-broker venue. I've posted a plea on craigslist. What else can I do to try to round up tickets? Where's str8 when I need him? Crap.
Show up and see if anyone's got tickets on the street outside the venue?

Ask one of the 6 other people that like Crowded House if they have a ticket to spare?

Sigh. I wish this were the case.

I'm having a rough day, what with other stupid people also liking Crowded House enough to make these tickets impossible to round up* AND losing out on a cool apartment that I really wanted in Venice because I didn't call the person who placed the Craigslist ad about it early enough in the day yesterday.

Anyone want to try to cheer me up?

*I've resorted to trying to use my music industry contacts (typically a last resort for me, because I'd rather not call in favors unless needed) but, alas, Crowded House seems to be a Capitol act and my contacts are all Universal and Sony/BMG folks.

You live in LA, have music industry contacts, have famous people all around you, and aren't you supposed to be some über-smug divorcée?

however, dissent about HBM, aka bi-partisanship fairy and howevermore socks, since he's a sock of some sort he really doesn't qualify as new and all.

And his "on-purpose" suggestive posts are a tad grating. I'm just saying.
Look, let's be clear, I am a long time lurker, short time poster, who cares enough to share honestly with my fellow communitarians here on the subjects of fashion and sex, of which I am expert in both. No socks, literally!

By the by, what's your major malfunction buddy?

sincerely,

First, I am a very cranky woman. [no buddy]

Second, if you are legit, and not a sock, I am sorry.

Did not mean to pick on you.

Best.
