The Milky Ways were similarly selectively undistributed last night. And for future reference, at least in my neighborhood, if given the choice, kids will ALWAYS take the plain M&Ms over the peanut M&Ms. I found that odd. And the Snickers were the huge favorite this year. Last year was the 100 Grand bars.

There's one fish food more gross than herring... I had a Swedish buddy who used to get these tubes of squeeze caviar sent to him by his folks. I shit you not, it came in a toothpaste tube. I'd get all baked and sneak in his room and squeeze them into my face. That was some good shit.
That would be hErring.

ETA caviar in a tube discussion

Also, the cariar in a tube is meant as a condiment. You squeeze it on your sandwich sort of like mustard. It tastes OK that way.

that and like, Mary Janes.
Having already confessed that I like the puffy cheetos, I feel no shame at all in confessing that I love LOVE LOVE Mary Janes.

I also love circus peanuts. And candy corn. And those caramel things with the white chalky crap inside.

I like the wider and thicker noodles in this dish.

ETA somewhere on the west side, more or less, is highly preferable. Or wherever, if they deliver to where I live.
Can't help you on location, but if you find a place with Rard Nah, it is the same noodle, practically the same dish without the eggs and more sauce.

I voted today.

And then I took my leftover Halloween candy (full sized Hersheys and M&Ms) to the fire station. The local firefighters were happy to take them off my hands. I made them promise to come extra-quick if I ever really need them.

I get the look when I tell people that I hate onions. Especially the in-laws who put onions on everything.
Hate onions? Who hates onions? What's wrong with onions? You can't taste them?

Yes. Yes I can.

Did you get an "I voted" sticker? They didn't give me an "I voted" sticker when I voted last week. :(

I do not think it's fair that I am not able to vote anywhere. I can't vote in Canadian or UK elections because of residency requirements, and I can't vote in U.S. elections because of citizenship requirements. Vote or die... hmmmph.

I voted on some shareholder thing a year or so ago simply because I was so happy that someone let me vote something.

Sorry, this probably belongs on politics. Well, fuck it.

I am proudly wearing my "I voted" sticker on my incredibly perky left breast. The brazenette will likely demand I relinquish said sticker to her when I pick her up at school.

Passive-aggressive secretary outside my door is fighting with an attorney about personal phone calls. Woo hoo!! The attorney is passive-aggressive as well, so it is shaping up to be a fun time all around.

It is amazing to me that New York is automatically the model of everything wrong in the world. It's like, if people who lived outside of New York didn't have New York to point to whenever they were mad about anything, they wouldn't know what the fuck to do. Hell, all you have to do is watch Fringey's reaction whenever anyone even mentions New York. "Hate it! Mean people! Don't ever go there! Don't want to!" Etc., ad nauseum.

Frankly, I don't really care. I just don't get why this place is the focus of so many complaints.

You hear the same crap about NYC out here in SF all the time.

Then again, this town is crawling with Boston transplants for some reason.

Who says you can't taste onions? That's stupid. And it's rude to give you a hard time about it (I assume that you decline them politely.)

It's incredibly rude to comment on a person's eating habits -- amount, preferences, anything. Why do people do that? Lack of other mealtime conversation?

I don't even like it when people comment about how the baby eats, but at least in that case there's some novelty to it.
