Because cookies are a sometimes food. It's quite awful.

The only redeeming thing about that show is they still have monsterpiece theater. The other day they did "Six Feet Under," and there were three people sitting at the dinner table and Count got under the table and counted the feet. That stuff is inspired.

Only tobacco. He still smokes weed and enjoys the occasional whipped-cream can huff.

'Me eat less cookies,' says Cookie Monster
Sesame Street character gets healthy, learns to control cravings
Now, this kind of inconsistency drives me batty (unlike the Sebby kind, that gets me kind of hot). It's an educational program, but nobody is worried that children will fail to learn the English language properly because Cookie Monster doesn't understand subjective and objective cases or, even more importantly, the difference between fewer and Less.

When I lived in California, a friend of mine came out for a weekend from the East Coast to see if she wanted to move there. She didn't have a job or housing or anything, and she stayed with me for a weekend to scope the area out. I'd never met her before that weekend, though I knew her for several years before through my buffy board.

After the weekend was over, I volunteered my extra bedroom to her for as long as she needed entirely based on our spending something like 15 hours watching classic Sesame Street on Noggin over the course of that weekend. She turned out to be one of the best roommates I ever had.

Dammit, dammit, dammit, I was going to name my kid Sierra Sky. Now if I do you'll all think I'm some kind of celebrity follower.

Harrumph. Now I'll have to go with my second choice, Yukon Denali.

Is using the FBA to send birthday wishes a deliberate joke now? Because I know there has been discussion about how sending b-day wishes under one's primary moniker affects one's anonymity, and I thought the consensus was that it didn't.

It's been a long time since I've seen the FBA legitimately used. Should we get rid of it?

OMG. I was JUST going to say that.

Before we worry about putting the Cookie Monster on Atkins, how about we master subject/verb agreement?

Just a thought.
