Hank, this may be the stupidest thing you've ever posted. And I know that's taking us into territory previously charted only by That Which Shall Not Be Named and The Other One We Don't Mention Either.

Jacqueline Bissett wasn't "truly sexy" enough for Steve McQueen?

One of those rare women whose face alone can start an erection. I Hank said she's not hot, he's mad... Certifiably insane, in every regard.

I even dig the David Bowie lazy-eye thing she's working there.

Someone said it, but the Mormons have brainwashed large populations in the South Pacific - Samoa, Tonga, and other Polynesia. BYU, Utah, have been the biggest (heh, heh) beneficiaries, but we at Cal have had a few. But we get the cool ones.

VIQ -- Opinions Needed!

I am on the horns of a dilemma: what should I be for Halloween? I have narrowed it down to two choices (hence the term "dilemma"), Cleopatra or Geisha?

The geisha costumes I have seen on the interwebs are mostly cheesy -- but Cleopatra's not that much better. I'm not looking for an excuse to dress like a tramp, and the geisha seems like a better cover up (and slightly more original), but what say you all?

Where does "spree" disclosure come from? My brain has turned to mush with respect to infirmation era factoids other than grammar timmy.

Did you just call me Coltrane? 10-07-2008 11:43 AM

Are you planning on going as a dead celebrity geisha?

Otherwise, this question might get more play on the FB.

The FAQ is still up over there, and it is like reading an old Time (or People, really) that you found in a box with your college stuff while cleaning your basement. Or, for me (since the Spree Disclosure was invented before my time) it would be like finding and reading my older brother's Rolling Stones.

Anyway, to answer your question:
  • Q: What is "Spree disclosure"?
A: After a spate of posts that included only a hyperlink to other sites, Latrell Sprewell made a new rule: if someone posts a hyperlink, they must disclose the subject matter of the item to which they are linking. This is to identify to unwary users what is contained behind the link. Past undisclosed links have been linked to sex sites and gore related sites (causing one GA to almost throw up in his office after viewing the aftermath of someone having jumped off of a tall building). A link must disclose the subject matter of the page, or else it will be deleted.

Go with the geisha. Based upon my experience at seeing adults in costumes on Halloween, I would say that it is a much more original choice than Cleopatra -- I've seen a few Cleopatras, but no geishas.

The geisha seems the slightly less original to me, but maybe I just run in strange circles (I will catch that tail eventually, dammit!).

Of course I also tend to encourage dressing like a tramp...

Where do you people live? I've seen entire troops of gay men dressed as geishas on Halloween.

IIRC, dtb has way better tits, but I don't know that Geishas actually have tits.
