Many sources saying a deal is done. Goodenow was not involved.

On that note, it is said that this was a classic case of "How not to negotiate"

I see. So A-Rod didn't even have time to think about that slap -- it was just some sort of involuntary twitch or something that reveals nothing about his character. Got it.

The whole thing was almost mythic. Game 6. Late innings. Jeter on base, hoping someone else on the team will rise to the occasion. Schilling is out of there and the Yankees are batting against a former Pittsburgh Pirate with cornrows who looks like a Tony Clark sneeze would send him into the stands. Their last chance before Foulke shows up. A-Rod hits his squibber to the pitcher, and slaps at Arroyo's glove. Then, after he's been called out, he tries to show the umpire he was just running.

You can keep overanalyzing any little part of this to try to defend your pussy, but it was what it was.
Boy, and people were complaining that the tax policy debate on the PB was boring. It's off-fucking-season, people.

No offense to the Toronto Star, but Canadian Labour laws are quite a bit different than U.S. Labor laws.

The Defamer is reporting that Disney will use CGI to reduce Lindsay Lohan's distractingly ginormous boobs in the Herbie retread.

It won't be the first time Disney has used technology in the service of global evil, but for god's sake, they couldn't have used CGI to make Belle's, Ariel's, Jasmine's or Pocahontas's chests somewhat more body-image-friendly? For Lohan's reality to have outstripped these animated chicks' boobs is really something. The last Disney heroine with realistically scaled breasticles since Snow White was Mulan, and she was a Chinese girl PRETENDING TO BE A BOY.

I'll tell you some reality- you wander around Disney World with the kiddies and MGM Studios- You see Belle and Cinderella, and then catch the Aladdin corner. The transformation of Jasmine from Cartoon to flesh and blood- and you forget, for a moment only, but still- that its all for the kiddies.

How did Jasmine's top clear the Disney board of review?

Plus, we know IT WILL HAPPEN- in that sense it is not like your posts on complete revision to tax policy, or other people's posts re. NHL seasons or something.

Call me when they create a Kim Possible corner. That is one sweet, sweet piece of cartoon ass.

Speaking of which:

So 2004: LIVESTRONG™ bracelet.

New for 2005: DIETHIN bracelet.

If I have a daughter, I will seriously consider plucking her eyes out at 11 so she'll have a fighting chance at leaving adolescence with a positive body image.
