Poll

If you were so sick/injured that you were unconscious for a month or more (or less, I guess, but at least a week), would you want someone to keep a diary of daily life and/or current events for you to look at after you woke up? Would you want it to include information on your condition (e.g., nearly died but pulled through)?

Is this too grim of a poll for what may still be late winter for some people?

I'm torn. I think right after I woke up, I would find the part about how sick I was very very upsetting, but that the current events/daily life part would be fun/interesting. But at some point, I would probably want to know what happened with me when I was out.

Feel free to knock me unconcious until May. This weather fucking sucks.

Do you want to see daily printouts of the crap weather you missed while unconscious?

My real-life Chicago connections are in Mexico right now. Ole!

I know this is screwing the hypo, but I would seriously look at slowly pounding a roofing nail through my kneecap instead of either of those.

It wouldn't be any more or less fun than either of the movies - pretty much a wash - but at least you would have a nail for later, if you ever needed one.

Are roofing nails good for anything other than roofing? Because I don't see any roofing in my future.

But think of the hell getting through airport security. Knowing my luck, I'd end up in the line right behind you, nail-kneed fucker.

I love rollercoasters, but I can't do rides that spin in circles. Instant vomiting.
That's because you aren't supposed to tap the keg until AFTER you get back from Six Flags.

I'd just want someone to give me that last few issues of People. I can live without knowing what's been going on in my friends' lives, but I'd hate to miss the Tory Spelling wedding pics!

I'm thinking of seeing this even though I haven't seen the first two prequels. B/c I really only want to see the Darth Vader transformation. Anyone think this is a bad idea? Will I be all confused if I try to see III w/o either I or II?

Nope. I can't ride those things sober. Although sobriety has been eluding me lately...

That trailer is fan-fucking-tastic. That, coupled with the admission from Lucas that this film is going to be PG-13, does, indeed, cause me to get my hopes up.

Let me say this: it would be impossible for the acting to be worse in III.

As the husband was checking into a hotel in Minneapolis a couple of weeks ago in 20 below weather with 40mph winds, a guy came into the lobby after him and said to the clerk "why do you people fucking live here?"

I guess, that's a good question for you to think about. And don't act like this winter is any different than the others.
Just know that some of us are suffering through 70 degree weather, but the wind-chill factor brings it down to 68.

This trailer, coupled with the first one, plus the Darth Tater... Damnit. I'm just setting myself up for more disappointment.

ncs, I can synopsize for you if you need a primer.

I actually like Episode 2. But then, I pretend that Annikan/Amadala scenes aren't there.
