General announcement

I can't speak from experience here, since the cross section of my congregation with which I have engaged in sexual acts is limited. Also, is an S&M participant likely to let a partner know of their inclinations the first time, or is it more likely that they will ask for, um, more interesting activities only after first experiencing the basics and building some trust? |

pleasing everyone
This article should satisfy NotBob and Atticus.
http://www.nytimes.com/2003/10/22/sp...ll/22PROB.html [spree: In trying to show how math plays in everyday life — at least for obsessed fans — the American Institute of Physics published an article on its Web site Friday offering a surprising statistic: in the past 50 World Series, nearly half — 48 percent — have stretched to the maximum seven games.] TM |

(After defense makes argument re: order of questions/counts to be posed to jury on verdict form) Judge: Response, counsel? Prosecutor: Well, they have the better argument, but I could make the other one. Do you want to hear it? Judge: No. (Snickers from gallery, which includes the poor sap's supervisors...) He did get to attempt to throw something together for a minute or two, but needless to say the defense got their way. |

"Oops!" Poll
Quote:
And not quite poll-responsive, but a big (outable) oops, nonetheless... I one had a very good legal assistant (other than the coke habit) who, put a bunch of joke language in a disclosure about how our damages were in the gazillions for having to put up with the intolerable bitch opposing counsel (it was quite funny, actually). I told him - go fix it and signed the last page. He fixed it, but didn't save it, so when he pulled it back up to print and mail......and when they got around to reading the thing several months later (after said legal assistant had been fired for other issues), I was stuck with a massive sanctions motion asking that I do community service, fines, etc. Let's say the judge was not amused, but we ended up settling the case, so I didn't end up dealing with it. reality tv
Anyone else watch the finale of Newlyweds last night? Nick seemed flat-out weary of her. It is actually starting to feel sort of sad to me. I hope they don't actually televise the eventual divorce.
And here is realityblurred's take on Joe $$ 2: The debut of The Next Joe Millionaire flopped, placing sixth in the time slot with only 6.6 million viewers. Even 7th Heaven had better ratings. FOX entertainment president Gail Berman tells the AP, "We're disappointed. I wish I knew what happened last night." Gail, here's what happened: You were beaten by a WB show for being greedy bastards, trying to squeeze even more cash out of a successful but definitely one-note show. I haven't had any desire to watch the second installment after the lame Disney ending of the first one, but that's just me. |
