Apropos of music that makes teenaged girls cut themselves, thanks to Sirius, I have discovered a wonderful song for karaoke night -- the Polyphonic Spree's "Wig in a Box."
Emo? Just seeing that word makes me angry.

The Spree makes teenaged girls gut themselves? I thought it made them take acid, dress in multicolored robes, and learn the French Horn.

I make the following shocking statement: I listen to and enjoy many Nelly songs. I even like the remix he did with John Mayer.

I am no where near as old as Wonk and no where near as young as his children. I am immortal.

Whoops. I was just trying to make a joke about the alleged link (per Michelle Malkin, or whatever her name is) between emo and cutting -- in an effort to be thought of as wittily clever. Or cleverly witty. Whichever.

Anyway, it was supposed to be the start of the new Not Bob schtick -- urban sophisticate. Sigh. Back to the drawing board.

I'd cut myself if that happened to me.

She is cute. I've never met you, but I'm willing to predict that you are Not As Cute.

(From the perspective of the waitress -- I know how my wife would react. Maybe I should ask if it was unacceptable from the perspective of the reasonable person standard. Yeah.)

As to the waitress, does it help my case that she knows from waiting on me several hundred times that I am a good tipper and a low-maintenance customer who does not usually leer?
NotBob,

Not to interfere with the new schtick, but this morning I was reminded of you. Today I patronized the local breakfast establishment not far from my offices. Its location, name, clientele (and, sadly as it turns out, the food) were suitable enough, though nondescript.

My waitress had fine enough hair, I suppose, but I was more drawn to her red T-Shirt, which read:

HUSTLER
HARDCORE SINCE '74

Though tempted, I did not compliment her on the T-Shirt. I cannot guarantee that no leering was involved.

I was tempted to ask something like, "September 2003?" but was mildly worried that it might prompt a clutching of the "ER" and the making of a face that has its proper time, but not over an omlette and coffee.

It's likely that the food will not bring me back, but if I can obtain from the class suitable questions to pose to her as a sociological exercise, the T-Shirt just might.

So, I finally join the crowd of FB women who have had dreams featuring Thurgreed. Nothing really hot involved, unfortunately, but I did let him fondle my huger-and-huger TITS (did I mention I'm now overflowing the DDs I bought two weeks ago?), and we smooched a bit. In my dream, anyway, he's a great kisser.

Well, the HU and ER were noticeably larger than the ST.

Not spectacularly endowed, but the shirt did not appear wildly inappropriate for the figure.

I do not subscribe to this particular publication, so I cannot know, but were she to have graced its pages, I would not have been shocked.

While I accept my role as the Freddy Krueger of this board, there is a bigger responsibility with which I (and now, indirectly, you) must comply.

In order to properly handle your naked dream-breasts, I will need photos of your naked real breasts, especially now that they are so big.

It is for the good of the board.

Is this a troll? You really think that Malkin is cute? She has always struck me as only marginally attractive in appearance, and one of the most disagreeable, disgusting people I can imagine, at least as far as can be discerned from her writing. In that regard, she's like good on Annie.

Do you have a link to the article where she claims that listening to emo makes people cut themselves?

If the "L" was not visible, they must be impressive on some level.
