Male nurses are gay. Fuck. Even that joke was incomprehensible?

True enough, but with the right accent, liquor is unnecessary.

If you switch my avatar for your's, and give me your login so I can post news stories I'll kill the sock.

ANNOUNCEMENT

Ironweed has challenged the rest of the Lawtalkers community to help raise money for the victims of Hurricane Katrina by offering to fund the board for one month if we can raise $500 and two months if we can raise $1000 for the Red Cross.

Donations can be made to the Lawtalkers paypal site on the main page or you can contact me at replacedtexan@hotmail.com or via PM to make other payment arrangements. Please note in the Paypal "payment for" section that you are making a donation for the Red Cross so I can earmark the funds and properly credit Ironweed.

I can speak authoritatively only for myself, but I suspect Gwink and dtb will mostly agree that I am mainly correct in saying that everyone has to earn his way in, cut or uncut.

In fact, some of the uncut ones have had an easier time of it, probably because of the accents.
But even the Pope acknowledges that we have a covenant. God don't breach no covenants.

ETA so I whiffed again. I've been very distracted lately. Not that any of you care. I'll try to do better in the future.

1 Post hoc

2 I own all water themed whiff comments. I do allow them to be used, but never in an attempt against me. Please go back and edit.

Speaking of Katrina, Mr. Chick's entire family is from Jefferson Parish, outside NO. We can't accomodate all of them for the next month plus, and I am drawing a blank on extended stay hotel chains. It seems that there are Extended Stay Americas in the Houston suburbs that have availability, but I know there must be other chains I'm not thinking of. TIA.
