My question was really whether the foreskin is visible when the penis is erect. This stemmed from a comment/question from Sebby which I will go find.

In the alternative, after seeing the penis erect, you will see the penis flaccid.

So you have spent all this time to say, yes, ltl, when erect you cannot see the foreskin but when flaccid you can always see the foreskin, or when erect you can sometimes see the foreskin but sometimes not, but when flaccid you can always see it?

I have only seen flaccid. As I said earlier. Hence my question about whether they look different erect.

And, "I don't think you can say that circumsized penises look this way and uncircumsized penises look that way" says to me that they are not differentiable by appearance. Especially when it was in answer to the question "How are uncircumsized erect penises, as a group, visually differentiable from circumsized erect penises?"

Unless "visually" and "by appearance" are somehow really very different things.
