Looking to buy a condo
Chicagoans:
I'm looking to buy a condo relatively soon. I've been looking at West Town, River West and the West Loop. I think I'm too late for the West Loop, but does anyone have an opinion re: the other two? It seems that RW and WT are growing (gentrifying?), and I'd like to get a piece soon. I'd also, of course, like to ensure that the future wife will be safe. Any suggestions? |

Woo hoo!
As if the interest in putting Lallapalooza in Grant Park wasn't enough, today they announce that
Lauryn Hill and Santana will each be playing the Taste of Chicago this year. As far as I could tell, the rest of the musicians on the schedule suck, but this announcement might be the best thing to happen since last week in the Chicago music scene. |
It's a Fucking Salt Stain, People...
People gather under a Kennedy Expressway overpass and block traffic to pray before a rust stain that they think looks like the Virgin Mary.
Great googly moogly... WTF is wrong with these people? |

North Side vs. South Side not great, not bad comparison of cubs vs. sox. Apparently written by a north side pansy. |
