If I start writing restaurant reviews, concoct a "contest" where we rate the best review on some phony website and get a sponsor to back me, can I deduct dinners out?

It's too hands-on... too blue collar.

Crimes of the successful have to be effected indirectly. With computers. Or phones if you're old. If the local gumshoes can bust doing it by finding the homemade napalm under your fingernails, you're slumming.

The commute was really easy today, and my office is largely vacant. Odd. I guess I didn't get the memo.

Hey, Flinty, can I borrow your Xbox today?

That's a question for wonk, but if you used the Palin's tax returns logic, probably.

My new favorite version of the Ramones "I wanna be sedated."

Here

I saw the documentary Young at Heart about a choir with an average age of about 80 that sings stuff like the Clash and Coldplay last night, and it was ridiculously charming. The Road to Nowhere video is also pretty adorable. I especially loved the choir member who is on oxygen.

The "T" in "twee" looks like male genitals. Green male genitals. I am not sure if I like them, Sam-I-am.

As was mine. Though the cat did try to block my access to the stairs.

yet heartbreaking. hint: just because you are the third best singer doesn't mean you can't move up in the near future.

Oh yes. I was alternatively grinning like an idiot and in tears when watching the movie.

#%&^%*&*^ &^#$^% @#@$!*(*&%^& iPhone

After repeatedly beating my head against a wall for the last week or so, I have a question for you tech-savvy types. I bought an iPhone and though I don't care THAT much about using it in place of my iPod, I figured since Mr Man has all this stuff (music, videos, etc.) on his iTunes -- well, up to now OUR iTunes -- I should load up some songs and such and maybe cut back the number of devices that I have to take on a trip tomorrow down by one. My dilemma is that I had to set up a new account for myself when I got the iPhone so that I could get goodies like instantaneous syncing of contacts and the ability to download apps. Now I can't figure out how to get my iPhone to work with Mr. Man's (read: OUR) iTunes account. I set it to manual syncing after having a bad outcome with the "sync only checked" setting, but iTunes just does not seem t want to recognize that my iPhone is there. It worked for two songs and now even though my phone is connected via USB cable, it acts as if there are no devices connected.

Is there any way to have our iTunes accounts tied together since we are one household??

(Side note: I'm attaching it to a PC, which is where we are logged in to Mr. Man's account; my Mac is logged in to my iTunes account. I shouldn't have to do this on a Mac, right? We don't for our multitude of other iPod devices, including Mr. Man's iTouch.)

really low-level advice until burger can get here-

an iPod works on PC or Mac, but not both. maybe the phones are the same?
