I have to disagree with #1, because I agree with Gatti that Shatner is good as Danny Crane.

10. Ben Affleck
Note: I have tried to keep a rule that anyone on this list has to have been famous for at least 10 years, but Affleck has stuffed 15 years of spectacular mediocrity into seven.

9. Keanu Reeves
8. Ozzy Osbourne
7. Snoop Dogg
6. Lorne Michaels
5. Whoopi Goldberg
4. Tony Danza
3. Madonna
2. Arnold Schwarzenegger
1. William Shatner

How did Tom Cruise not make this list?

Looks like room will open up for J-Lo, slave, because based on the publicity photos, at least one of these schmoes may not be much longer for this world.

You could bring her in by proxy under Ben Affleck, but I don't think anyone ever overrated J-Lo. She's pretty much considered crap by most people.

Contemptible? I thought that prenups today included the trading-up no-harm-no-foul clause. Otherwise, why would anyone agree to this whole marriage thing?

Clearly the trend of the year.

Anyone want to join me on a 55 hour Vegas wedding-party-divorce a la Britney? I hate not feeling all hep.

Only if you're playing the part of Britney, and I'm Jason Alexander. No, this one:

Riddick mostly stucks. It has negligible plot, dialogue and character development. There are only two good things about the movie, the special effects and the action sequences.

  • "A Sound of Thunder" is about a game hunter (Burns) who goes on a time-traveling safari owned and operated by Kingsley's character to hunt dinosaurs in the prehistoric era. When he kills a butterfly, he unknowingly sets off a chain reaction that will erase humanity from existence.

Simpsons did it!

Kismet. After 15 years of people telling me I had to read this, I picked it up from the library (!) on Saturday.

I'm not very far into it, but I recommend it already. Very Douglas Adams. If "Dogma" had had even half the wit of this book . . . .

movie report

As I mentioned a while back we went to see polar express in 3d. I haven't seen a 3d since I was a kid so it was neat to see how far the technology has come. Mrs. Eaze explained to me that in the ride type movies at amusement parks the characters seem to come out into the audience and interact with you. This wasn't that kind of movie but it was still neat. The rest of the movie, very strange and not very good. It was worth it though to have it feel like a train was about to stop in my face.

I think the movie didn't really know where to go. Its message is extremely juvenile, Christmas spirit and all that, but it also has a lot of very scary moments that might upset young ones.

We also saw Santa v the Snowman in 3d. It was extremely charming, definitely good for those of you with kids. This one had some parts in the beginning where the characters seemed to come out into the audience. The reactions from the kids were as fun as the movie itself.

Finally we saw Neverland. Excellent.
