I think Penske would have been satisfied had anyone reflected on it a bit when he was in power. But that was back when NOW made the principled decision that an alleged rapist fighting for women's rights was an acceptable compromise. Frankly, they were strategically correct, but tactically wacked.

I think that by that act they surrendered any claim (however tenuous it was even at that time) to being a legitimate and credible voice in the public arena. Sadly, the likes of Biden, Kennedy (ironically, another serial abuser and killer of women), Pelosi and Hillary get support from and pimp the agenda of NOW et al., which is why, we, of a righteousness of vision and moral clarity have to continue to point out their wackness.
