Staples suck.
Thank you.

I am sort of saddened, though. Once I caught the hearts and imagination of GAs everywhere with my impassioned denunciations of the soul-destroying drudgery and humilliations of our profession, my screams of angst against an uncaring universe.

Now I am loved for my ability to tap into our common feelings about photocopies an dpaper clips.

What happened to me?

Apropos of Soriano, why in god's name is he STILL batting lead-off? Torre is generally a good manager, but this decision all year has driven me crazy. His OBP isn't that great and he hit 38 HRs! What a waste of HRs. He could have driven in 130. Throw Jeter up top and bat Soriano 2nd and the Yankees score more...
Good question. But I'd go further and move him down to 6th. Jeter leads off, bernie second, giambi third, matsui fourth, bernie, posada, soriano, right field and fucking boone in the nine hole.

Torre's moves last night made no sense.

Yes and yes.

au contraire, I thought you invented (well, stole from sebby, but who's counting?) taking credit for winning an argument, despite the lack of evidence thereof, and even in spite of evidence to the contrary.

now that I think about it, that has been so done that the ownership rights on it are probably too diffuse to be accounted.

go on already.

I don't care if i won, it only matters if I think I've won.

Which they don't even do. Lifetime--24 hours a day of crappy TV movies with whatsername-that-played-Laura-Ingalls-but-after-her-nose-job about rape, incest, sexual abuse and domestic violence. This is "TV for Women?" "Cinematherapy"--you need goddamned therapy after all that weepy schmaltzy sentimental crap.

Please. Give me Outdoor Life Network instead. Though I admit that a 24-hour 'Dynasty' channel might have some appeal.

I always had concern. I just might not have been conveying it. That was the basis of my entire diatribe: I feel sorry for these women who are fucking up their lives (in the cases of strippers and prostitutes) and doing unhealthy things to their bodies and maybe their pysched (in the case of fake tits). Anyway, I think a big part of my feeling on this whole thing is that I don't really like the way fake breasts feel. Maybe I have only been involved with bad ones, but I was surprised how their movement, feel and sensitivity was different. It shocked me; they look nice, but feel so strange.

I'm too much of a self-explainer; I should have just shut the fuck up about fake tits and how I think they're a bad idea even if someone I didn't know did think that I was calling her mother a whore. But it bugs me that people misinterpretted what I said. Ever since I stopped being a real asshole, I'm concerned when some erronesouly still think that I am. Anyway, I am done talking about fake tits. The realy ones are so much nicer. Let's talk about them.

I'm a little surprised by this, unless they have programs where you can learn how to shoot critters and make your own hat.

no you deserve to get flamed, because that last line was so rediculous in its assumption that i would stop calling you dearie because you asked me to. actually all you did was let everyone on the board know how to grate on your nerves - very stupid of you to give that away.

but since i am usually pretty nice to people, i won't call you dearie.

but maybe the fact that as a long term poster who went away for a while and returned under a different log in id take offense to some newbie trying to act like she understands fashion board traditions when she doesn't even know that friday is catfight day (and you really do not need a reason other than being in a bad mood to flame someone here) will refresh your memory.

Indeed, and the route for Le Tour 2004 was announced today.

-- Smaller point differentials for climbing stages
-- A team time trial with a maximum differential in assigned times of 2:30
-- two individual time trials in the last week, including one up L'Alpe D'Huez.
-- 6 other mountain stages.

Do I remind you of some inbred squirrel-eating Daniel Boone? And I assume you stalked down the cow that made your Cole-Haans.

As e/o said, it's all about the cycling.

Actually, I knew that. And she still has the whole "I'm so naughty, why don't you spank me" shtick that is so mojito.

What I can't figure out is why she thinks it'd be a good idea to fight with me...
