Tedy Bruschi had a stroke back when all the A-Rod bashing was happening (which is why the A-Rod bashing wasn't such a big news item up here). Story broke late yesterday out of Tucson, where Bruschi has close friends, that he was having heart surgery yesterday or today to repair a hole in his heart. The unnamed Tucson source said that it was highly unlikely that he would play again. I haven't heard/read any updates.
