What if someone asked you to get both at the same time?

Depends on whether there's a straw involved.

It is your responsibility to keep the information in your profile up-to-date. You should especially ensure that your email address is kept current. You can alter any of the fields in your profile, except your username. Once you have registered your username, it becomes yours for life. In extreme circumstances, you may request that the administrator change your username, but he will require a very good reason to do so. "

When I signed up for the board I was at that time a patent paralegal. [I had gone to school at night for ba, working as secty days, once I graduated became a paralegal for 3 years] Since then, over the 7 or so years since I've signed up I switched back into secty and then out of patent completely. When I considered should I change my name I saw the above. I was either too busy or too lazy or didn't think it was a big giant deal. Those that needed to know know. It's not like I "pretended" to be something that I'm not. The more logical choice for that would to pretend to be an associate which I never would do so. And for good or for bad all my stuff was associated with my monniker. I just didn't freak out about it. I'm not ashamed of being a secretary. It is what it is. money is the same if not better. you make it sound like I empty wastebaskets. although I guess I'd do that if it meant providing for my family. Like when 6th year slave switched out of law, he became slave no more. he's obv. more industrious than I am about re registering or petitioning RT to change his name. **Lesson to newbers pick a general name and nothing to do with your title. that way you are always say, HBM or John Phoenix forever!
I think it was all in jest. There really is no demarcation between para and secretary, except that secretaries are far more valuable.

Plus, we here all pretend to be interesting people.

eh. I work with a woman who every morning trots to sbux for her boss and also fetches his lunch. I've been asked to get coffee, hot water, cut a pear, staple two sheets of paper, scan when the machine is right there. I have no prob with it.

I'm not deleting posts, I'm not telling anyone to stop, and I'm not posting this as an admin.

But from the day someone posted a myspace page to the day someone else referenced what's in my blog, I've increasingly uncomfortable with this sort of thing.
No one is more vulnerable than I am. I am just lucky no one else in my office knows how to use the computer.

I'd answer this, but I can't. You can't repond to a subsequent post by editing a previous post. What's written after your post is future knowledge you cannot backdate into previous posts. It's in the FAQ.

If you put it in the future I might answer.

I edit posts in an effort to keep post numbers down. Obviously this is a violation of FAQs.

It was kind of a joke I know you are not near the Cape.
