Let them spend some time here, and they'll give up on the whole "the Internet is useful" notion. |
Islam: A Religion of Peace and Tolerance part 1,349
Notwithstanding Adder's mos excellent jab at my influence, recently, as part of my real life compassionate multi-polar communitarianism, I have become acquainted with some of the leaders of the local Iranian-Muslim community (yes, the elusive moderate freedom loving muslims) who are involved with freedom movements in the land of their ancestry (eg: RadioFree Iran et al, outable, outable). One of my allies over there sent me some pictures of Muslims who marched throughout the streets of London during a recent Religion of Peace Demonstration.
Apparently, these pictures have never been shown by our MSM because the MSM does not want to paint the true picture of what is going on in the world and especially never wants to offend any of its comrades in the anti-America movement. I share these pictures with y'all today, in the hopes of fostering an understanding of what is truly going down on the Arab street. |

I take your word for it on China's MFN's status. On Haiti, I can believe that Clinton criticized aspects of Bush's Haiti policy. But given the Democratic constituency to which he was pandering, I find it hard to believe he was criticizing nation-building, rather than specific policy choices. I can't find anything on the internets about Clinton criticism of Bush on Haiti. Wikipedia says that Aristide was elected in 1991, and I don't recall U.S. nation-building there in 1991 or 1992 -- Aristide did not get a lot of support from the GOP, to my recollection, maybe rightly so. Again, maybe you could point me to something specific. |

Are you doing this? Certainly there must be plenty of moderate Muslimic groups to interact with in DC, yes? Again, why the desire to remain ignorant of the truth? |
