I think the cherry stuff was Smirnoff. The cherry flavor was not subtle, like the flavored vodkas they sell now, and it was quite syrupy. I think we called them Cough Drops.

Worst drink I had in HS: We were out of everything else and couldn't buy more. I found some stray cans of Pearl Lite in the hatchback. They were warm, so we decided to pour them over ice in glasses. Horrible, but we finished them off.

Growing up, my parents always had two bottles of vodka. The Wolfshmidt plastic jug and the Smirnoff (later, to be replaced by Absolut, and now its Grey Goose or some Polish vodka whose name I cant recall). My mama always told me that the Wolfschmidt was for mixed drinks bc y ou didnt want to waste the good stuff on a clamato mixer.

SO that's why I stole the big plastic jug and drank it with OJ with my gay best frind in the woods behind the school and prompltly passed out under a cafeteria table with my legs sticking out from underneath it like the Wicked Witch of the West.
