Jayzuz, BRC, at some point, don't we all need to claim the same Cro-Magnon ancestory?

If someone's ancestors went from Scotland or England to Ireland, and was there from the early 1800's, can't they call themselves Irish? Is there a vesting convention?
I believe there is indeed a rule for Ireland -- if you're Catholic, you're Irish with any kind of Celtic last name; if you're Protestant, you're a scum sucking occupying power even if your ancestry on Erie goes back 500 years. This, of course, has considerable background in the historical conflicts - the two cultures were forcibly kept separate, and in many cases, different laws applied depending on religion. So for those Scotch-Irish who became Catholic, I think that they are culturally indistinct and quickly mixed with the Irish. The Orangemen, however... no.

Probably a whiff, but I am nothing if not earnest.

It was really just a throw away line in an attempt to be mildly amusing. An unsuccessful attempt, obviously. I meant that it made one wonder about his taste because he turned down a dalliance with RT.

I actually think that it's sweet that he remains faithful to Sequels, even in his dreams. Coltrane, this is clearly a sign that you should sign that chick up and make it legal before she runs off with wonk. Or ABBA.

Congratulations. You are getting older and your sex drive is diminishing. The young, virile Coltrane would not have let the opportunity pass, Sequels or no.
Now I picture Coltrane in his outdoor bathtub, beer in one hand and Cialis in the other with a creepy looking cougar in the tub next to him.

If true, RT could have just called her sister.

The old not bob would at least have asked if coltrane had told RT that her hair looked nice before he turned her down.

Wow!

Look, Rt is not creepy-looking. "distinguished?" perhaps- "matronly?" maybe- but not creepy.

Take it from me, she's no cougar. An old guy with a diminished sex drive who can't get it up without pharma is not cougar prey.

Cougars want virility.

Uh, or so I've heard.

I'm pretty sure that I saw people already drinking at Griff's when I left for work this morning.
