You have been saying "titaaays" way too often lately.

You know how there's an adult board, and you have to get a mod to allow you access there? Couldn't we have an annoyance-free board, and not allow certain in-my-space and offputting people there? A board you have to be on the guest list for kind of thing.

(Yes, I know. This is a really bitchy suggestion. I'm not just rich. I'm bitchy too. Don't make me remind you all.)
But would the effect not be the same if we just kept the boards the way they are and RT just banned a certain IP address?

I haven't worked out all the details. I am merely interested in an annoying-free life.

How many lurkers/newbers do we really think there are?

It would be morally reprehensible to ban someone absent a violation of the TOS.

You should see the new rack. It is truly awe inspiring.

While I realize I am biased here, I feel that is the wrong direction for the board to go in. It would preclude a lot of people from participating, not just me. I realize I am annoying but this seems rather extreme to me.

So you'd rather ban someone, as well as virtually eliminate the possibility of newbers?

I was being sarcastic, at least about the moral reprehensibility.

If it was up to me, I'd have banned her a long time ago.

Are you a member of the adult board?

But can't the content and conduct of which we speak fall under the "otherwise objectionable" language?

I am not a moderator. Someone should ask one of them.

Again, while I can be annoying I take exception to the assertion I've somehow violated TOS.

it would hurt my feelings if i didn't make the cut and be invited, but if I was invited I would be disappointed that I wasn't annoying people, you know?

I have a private board on the over-21 Adults only section of Yahoo.....actually, it's not mine. It is lactation lover's, but I am an alternative mod. To date its been fairly narrowly focused in topicality but I suppose change can be good.

I will post the sign-up info on the adults board here for those interested.

Thanks and happy veteran's day in advance,

Penske
