I swear, if stirrup pants make a comeback I am going to wield my fury like a crazed octopus on the first person I see wearing them. Even if it is Shirley from Wyoming who never stopped wearing the ones she bought in 1985.

The leggings are bad enough. Fuck me.

You mean the man purse?

If stirrup pants come back in style I boycott.

A friend has put that spice girls "what I really really want" song in my head. NICE.
There were tomatoes the next morning at the gospel brunch. I was really, really happy. My brunch-mates were, I think, mostly relieved.

The tomatoes were outstanding. The company, even better.

Zig ah zig ah zig ah.....

Not on the streets of NYC these days. No one is safe.

How do you feel about the return of gauchos? They kill me. The worst are the flowy, black, summer gauchos, worn with sandals (or worse, flip-flops).

FYI... your set at ACL allegedly kicked ass. I didn't make it in time.

Gauchos belong on the pampas.

I hope that knickers (the ones that buckle at the knee) do not also make a comeback.

I have skinny jeans, but that is the extent of my following the current trends. I am not fond of this return to the 80s crapola.

And here is another part of the rant. At a time when most of America is overweight, the trendsetters are introducing skinny pants? 1% of the population, if that, looks good in those pants. It is just not very nice (and seems misguided if the object is to sell clothes).

I was once a Spice Girl for Halloween. For those keeping track of such things. I was Posh Spice. Since that time, Posh Spice has lost some weight and I have gained some weight, so there is unlikely to be a costume reprise.

Wow, that night was a drunken debacle. Good times.

And the pencil skirts. And the bubble skirts.
