I am going to hit his second book after I finish Empire of the Word. Jared seems to have an accent or an affectation. I can't quite figure it out. But he sounds funny. Have you noticed that?

Are there 3 hours in all? Or more? I'm not sure about his accent because I haven't watched the shows yet. He lives in LA though when he isn't hanging out in Greenland or New Guinea, etc. And he has a summer place in Montana. That is why his US case studies in Collapse are those two places.

I can't remember if it is three hours or six. I know there were three episodes. The episodes only seemed like an hour but that may be because they were good. Anyway - he definitely has some sort of accent or affectation. When you watch it you will see what I mean.
