Possible Elections - imagine that
http://www.cnn.com/2005/WORLD/meast/....ap/index.html
Do you think that some of these opposition leaders may be for democracy? Funny that there is a discussion of an election in a country where everyone wants democracy "as much as they want a hole in the head". I guess the whole exercise if fruitless because "they don't get it, and don't want to get it". |
On this day 36 years ago . . .a young woman died for Teddy's sins to save our nation

I actually went to Church (Catholic) for the first time in 3 years today and lit a candle and said a prayer for MJ's soul, may she rest in peace, god bless, amen. http://home.comcast.net/~phildragoo/...6/site1503.jpg |

In June and July on 2003, before his NYT signed op-ed and during the time he was talking to Kristof, Wilson was going around to anyone and everyone in DC that would listen that (i) contrary to his original report, there were no Niger-Iraq meetings and (ii) that documents were forged, even though he hadn't seen them. Why would a Gore supporter and husband of a CIA worker (who- even before his trip deemed the Niger connection as "crazy" ) make such statements? The only justifiable answer is "partisan hack" |

Mary Jo Kopechne Memorial Day
In celebration of this hallowed day, at the suggestion of a Usenet group that I am a participant of, I called Senator Kennedy's office a few minutes ago and wished the Senator a happy anniversary.
As good Americans I would suggest y'all do the same. For MJ. 202.224.4543. http://www.goodolddogs2.com/kennedy_murderer.jpg |

I posted and referred to all the "behind the scenes" mechanics of Wilson before the NYT op-ed with his by-line. But you chose to ignore it. Surprise, surprise. And if I don't respond to this topic anymore, it's because pointing out the truth to brain-damaged liberals like you is a waste of my fucking time, since it all boils down to "Bush is Evil, Republicans Suck" |

You expose yourself as the true board dick for showing this much disrespect for a dead woman killed at the hands of an unapologetic elitist fvckstain! Perhaps you would be interested in a victim's statement. A friend forwarded me the following via email, which purportedly may be an actual email from the great beyond from Ms. Kopechne: subject: Remember Me? From: Mary Jo Kopechne to: the political naifs of the modern age, eg: Sexual Panda I would have been 65 years of age this year. Read about me and my killer below. When Sen. Ted Kennedy was merely just another Democrat bloating on Capitol Hill on behalf of liberal causes, it was perhaps excusable to ignore his deplorable past. But now that he’s become a leading Republican attack dog, positioning himself as Washington’s leading arbiter of truth and integrity, the days for such indulgence are now over. It’s time for the GOP to stand up and remind America why this chief spokesman had to abandon his own presidential bid in 1980 - time to say the words Mary Jo Kopechne out loud. As is often the case, Republicans have deluded themselves into thinking that most Americans already know the story of how this “Leading Light of the Democratic Party” left Miss Kopechne behind to die in the waters underneath the Edgartown Bridge in July 1969, after a night of drinking and partying with the young blonde campaign worker. But most Americans under 40 have never heard that story, or details of how Kennedy swam to safety, then tried to get his cousin Joe Garghan to say he was behind the wheel. Those young voters don’t know how Miss Kopechne, trapped inside Kennedy’s Oldsmobile, gasped for air until she finally died, while the Democrats’ leading Iraq war critic rushed back to his compound to formulate the best alibi he could think of. Neither does Generation X know how Kennedy was thrown out of Harvard on his ear 15 years earlier — for paying a fellow student to take his Spanish final. Or why the US Army denied him a commission because he cheated on tests. As they listen to the Democrats’ “Liberal Lion” accuse President Bush of “telling lie after lie after lie” to get America to go to war in Iraq, young voters don’t know about that notorious 1991 Easter weekend in Palm Beach, when Uncle Teddy rounded up his nephews for a night on the town, an evening that ended with one of them credibly accused of rape. It’s time for Republicans to state unabashedly that they will no longer “go along with the gag” when it comes to Uncle Ted’s rants about deception and moral turpitude inside the Bush White House. And if the Republicans don’t, let’s do it ourselves by passing this forgotten disgrace around the Internet to wake up memories of what a fraud and fake Teddy really is. The Democratic Party should be ashamed to have the national disgrace from Massachusettsas their spokesman. And the GOP needs to say so out loud! Sincerely, Mary Jo Kopechne http://home.mchsi.com/~pcrepairserv/drunkteddy.jpg |
