Congratulations, though.

Thanks, although I think the Cardinals are going to have a really hard time getting there. Pettitte, Clemons, Oswalt.

I will alert them.

Are you intentionally missing the point? Because I'm tired of making it.

today I got 2 emails on my ebay account from

Prefectures F. Chilly and

Coloreds A. Estimating

both at [aw-confirm@ebay.com]

Lot's of spam comes with these obviously fake, but colorful names. Why? When it was just with spam I figured they had to invent some name and so they were fighting boredom by making up names, but now with ebay doing it, it seems there might be some reason. ebay could have the "from" just be "ebay."

Anybody know the purpose of the fake names? MR?

Your favorite posts always involve penises. Have you mentioned this in therapy group?

Pettitte is good in must-wins. Clemens can't be trusted in the playoffs. Oswalt? Who knows. But you're right. They're clearly in a better position.

If St. Louis has any fight at all, they will take it to 7.

By the way, the last time a staff had 4 consecutive complete games in a playoff series, one of those pitchers threw a perfect game in the World Series.

I'm sorry, Hank. I didn't mean to leave you out. I want you too.

That's why I live in the city and not in the burbs.

The Great War a/k/a WWI. Lots of that going on in the US after 1917. Elsehwhere, too. King George V changed the family name to Windsor from something Germanish. ("Battenberg" maybe?)

They're already aware and don't seem to mind in this particular instance.

However, to show my solidarity with you on this matter generally, I will refrain from posting anything from Savage Love until he changes the name of his column.

I thought it used to be Guelph. I don't know why.

I thought Lord Mountbatten became Mountbatten after a switch from Battenberg.

mmmm, marzipan.

Right. Of course. That's the reason they drink and fight.
