According to the Sabbath sunset calendar sunset in Seattle was 5:05 today (note the time on my post as 5:07 pacific time. While my knowledge of geography and time zones is inexact, at best, I feel comfortable in the assertion that in any given calendar day the sun sets in Seattle after the sun has already set in Detroit. Thoughts?

Northwest/KLM/Delta's main routes into US are through here. I doubt it symbolic, more simplicity.

Every time I read this I think . . . Overly dense bread-like substance shaped like a tire, and it might last longer that the last set I bought.

Thanks for letting your trash out. If you put your mayors in jail, like Illinois does with its governors, we wouldn't have to put up with him. Although, most of the press covering him down here has been very positive. We just gloss over the mean 'accusations' and welcome such an upstanding man to our fold. He must be giving mountains of cash to a local church.

I'm also thinking an "Ellis Island" thread where out of towners have to post, until I grant them permanent entry.

boot that. some of the desolate areas are being repopulated by wide life. once Bing gets those neighborhoods clean of people, word around the campfire is he'll turn them into high-priced hunting preserves.

Did you ever recount the cautionary tale of your bathroom experiences when you were at Detroit Biglaw? that seems sort of substantive, iirc. ymmv. :)
