Ugliest uniforms

As for the best, I think that the Jets and the Giants should be up there, now that they've both returned to the 1960s. Also, I kinda like Cleveland's look.
I should have made it clear that the "Worst" list was in no particular order, either. You're right. The Seattle monochrome stuff is horrible. They ruined a perfectly good uniform when they abandoned the old skool stuff of Zorn and Largent.

I would agree that the Jets and Giants uniforms are among the better ones, but I didn't see them cracking top five -- although I'm more of a fan of the classic uniforms. I had a really hard time keeping the Colts out of the top five for that reason. And I'm partial to the Browns uniforms too, although, again, I'm biased -- in quite a different direction from my bias re: the Steelers, I might add.

Now that you have a fancy new computer, I feel obligated to inform you about this really cool thing called the in-ter-net. I heard once that our former Vice-President, Al Gore, had a hand in inventing it. I believe Acme may even have this thing called a web-site. I think you may actually be able to order one of the initiation kits there, but you probably need a credit card.

A question for the FB cognoscenti.

Barcelona or Florence?

You cannot hope to woo her with hyphenation like this.

You are so helpful, mr. fish. Are you angling for one of the initiation kits or something?

Fringey -- thank you for alerting any would-be wooers to the perils of punctuation. What would I do without your careful screening.

(not that anyone has a chance, mind you, as I am internet-spoken-for)

Shouldn't your second sentence end in a question mark? I'm just saying.

3. I haven't been to Barcelona, but Florence is fantabulous.

Firenze, baby

Barca's got the better football team, a kick-ass Dali museum 2 hours outside of town, and (arguably) cuter babes, but that's about it. For the food, the art, rooms with a view, gotta be Florence.

You are right to be troubled. That's something, I suppose. Different spellings indicate different meanings. Clearly, you didn't receive a kit; I'm not sure I can do anything about it in your case.

I received it, but it fell into the Instant Hole. Can you please send me another copy?

2 to everything here--I haven't been to Barcelona, but your biggest problem with Florence is likely to be feeling like your time there is too short. If you can work out a way to spend a month there in the off-season, do it.

tm

PS And don't miss spending a chunk of time looking over the city from the Piazza Michelangelo--the beautiful Puccini arias from A Room with a View will start replaying in your head unbidden.
