The worst fucking topic of the past three weeks have been these boring fucking debates about starting new boards.

The reason floated for the insurgency board is idiotic. Slave hasn't posted here in weeks, and nobody needs to be “protected” from him. We’re fucking adults; behave like adults. If you don’t like something, move along. If you want to discuss books, do it here or join a fucking book club.

Spanky, you’re a great guy, and you provide excellent grist for dozens of funny posts, but for a newber like yourself to walk in here and start demanding huge changes be made to the boards is fucking annoying.

I think RT does an excellent job, and the complainers are lucky to have her babysitting and putting up with their annoying asses. And I love her. Yes, there it is. I love her!

Intentionally getting in the way of the double-play throw after his fly ball was caught. It hit him in the butt -- he watched it all the way in and let it hit him. Had the ball not hit him, Sheffield would have been doubled up at first.

Although I agree it was a dick move, this last sentence is 100% false. Sheff would have gotten back in time. In addition, the play had absolutely nothing to do with the outcome of the game.

I wonder if you guys would bitch and moan and whine about ARod all the time if he put up average numbers. What exactly is it about him that pisses you off so much?

so I watched most of Sunday's episode last night, and the rest of it this morning.

I thought it was one of the better episodes ever.

Things I thought were well done:

• Brenda in the red car (was that the same car from the end of the season after she and Nate break up?)
  Brenda sitting on the ground during the funeral
  What a stand-up guy Keith is
  George (I know -- George!?!) He was eminently likeable.
  Brenda's isolation -- and her final admission of grief with her brother
  Ruth's shock and devastation - her "zombification" was so believable and sad
  David and Ruth washing Nate's body
  That Patricia Clarkson, Frances Conroy and the girl who plays Claire look as though they could be related (this isn't new, but it really struck me last night)
  Claire saying, "So all you guys win" when David rebukes her for her sartorial choice for the funeral

I thought you hated him, too? I think the board has discussed the reasons for hating A-Rod. Everything he says and does is too calculated, just like Tom Cruise. Plus, he's a cheater.
