Random Question

How come on TV and in movies, whenever a character goes into a public or semi-public restroom to use a stall for reasons other than 1 or 2, there is a lid for the character to sit on. I'm all for the willing suspension of disbelief, but come on. Most public restrooms simply don't have lids???

It's Usher, who looks much better with no shirt at all.

The rule means you can "cheat" even though you're playing with friends and it's not wrong. Cheating is wrong, but crossing a line on rules hoping the ump/ref doesn't call something isn't cheating.
Agreed. Getting in the way of a double play is like Gaylord Perry or Phil Neikro scuffing the ball or throwing vaseline coated spitters back in the day. Its like Brett with the pine tar an inch too high.

One would hope that it's a costume party.

My nephew would like to know why Harry Potter doesn't use a blackberry. He doesn't buy the whole "magic cancels out need for blackberry" argument.

It looks fabulously coordinated with the sponsors' logos, though.

I don’t understand how any moderately young cat can seriously work the sweater tied around neck look. I get the campy factor, and the making fun of the “Biff” look, but some guys seem to be seriously doing it because they think it looks cool. Its 10X worse than the collar turned up look. You can only do either when you’re pushing 60 and just don’t know any better because your entire social life revolves around golf and gin.

I am not familiar with this Usher guy (though I have heard of him). And I don't hate the song "Walking in Memphis." And I didn't take any of the pills this morning -- I think they let me kind of stretch things out yesterday and it's soooo much better. Did I mention it's much better? Way, way better. I also did the stretchy things that balt (?) recommended, which was possible because I was relaxed.

Yeah, yeah, I know no one cares.

Yeah!

It is freezing cold in my office, and yesterday I was miserably cold. I had to go outside the building just to warm up.

So today I brought a sweater. You people have made me SO self-conscious, that I shoved it in my purse, rather than putting it over my shoulders. (Actually, it wouldn't have looked right over my shoulders -- but still!! Way to boost my confidence you meanies!)

This should in no way constitute an admission that the sweater-over-the-shoulder look is at all times ridiculous; however, you may mark me down in the "ridiculous" column for purposes of evaluating the gentleman's get-up in the picture.

I care. I only meant that I beat you to the dtb joke. Haha.

I hate the song Walking in Memphis. And now it's in my head, thanks to that judgmental misogynist, Atticus.
