How many people do you know who vote solely based on who would lower their taxes? How many people know anything about the world other than entertainment and sports? And to a great degree, they're right. Why bother anymore?

Not really. He's right. Other than the faux intellectual elitist liberals the American populace doesn't much care to dwell on this issue. It doesn't make it right, it wasn't, but the superdupermajority of Americans are over it. We would be better served to focus on the latent and not so latent racism all around us in America right now, but too many Americans don't care about that either and the demos risk the loss of their plantation bound minority constituency by addressing the substance of the issue.
