Does anyone know how to extend their life? I have two-week disposables, but they never last two weeks. Maybe 11 days. Then they start to get blurry and itchy. This really pisses me off b/c people I know with the same brand claim they wear theirs for a whole month.

I think that is due to protein deposits that need to be removed with enzyme solutions. Not sure if you can use the enzyme solutions with disposables.

Psst. It might be a set up. Like she went to Yale High School or something. Like those wacky "Harvard" boys on 90210. Or Hank.

There's a large variance amongst people's eye-fluid chemistry, so some will build up the deposits more quickly than others. Best bet is to frequently use some of the contact-associated eye drops. But, if you're a protein-buildup-type, they're never going to last a long time.

Don't sleep with them on, when you have a fan on. Dries 'em out.

In this age of communicable diseases, you shouldn't be sleeping with your fans, anyway.

But can you use the enzyme solution to remove them if you have disposables? I don't know and am too lazy to google.

You did better with the archery-themed jokes.

My Accuvue 2's are supposed to be 2-week disposables, but I get about a month out of them as well. I do nothing special to them to make them last.

Same here.

We are lucky, lucky people. Before today, I had no idea how lucky we were.

I had a three month lens that extended to three months, two weeks and three days. Unfortunately the extension lasted until about three hours before the first day of the bar exam. I'm pretty sure that panic and complete inattention to the lens in those last few weeks had something to do with the extension.
