Being a lawyer is not all it's cracked up to be. I can't buy a Disneyland sign until my student loans are paid off.

John Stamos (born August 19, 1963) is an American actor and the son of Bill (1934-1998) and Loretta Stamos (1937-). His paternal grandfather Hermes Stamotopoulos (1908-1990) had borne the name Stamotopoulos, and changed it to Stamos upon emigrating from Greece to America.

Born in Cypress, California, John has two sisters, Janeen and Alaina. He has appeared in a number of movies, commercials and television sitcoms since 1982. He kicked off his acting career with a role in General Hospital, also having he starred in an unaired Coke advertisement.

Stamos is arguably best known for his role as the character of "Jesse (Hermes) Katsopolis " in Full House (1987-1995), an "Elvis-obsessed" rocker and motorcycle aficionado. Jesse moved in with his brother-in-law, Danny Tanner, to help him raise his kids (Donna Jo ("D.J."), Stephanie and Michelle) after the death of Danny's wife, Pamela. Jesse has his own rock band called "Jesse and the Rippers." His attitude could be described as cool and carefree. Jesse has great hair which he pampers a great deal. Later, he marries Rebecca Donaldson, Danny's beautiful co-host on "Wake Up San Francisco." The couple has twins, Nicky and Alex.

John married supermodel Rebecca Romijn in 1998. This was the first marriage for them both, and they had no children. The couple separated in 2004.

On the musical front, John has toured with The Beach Boys as a drummer on and off for 15 years.

In November 2000, Stamos was the winning bidder in the eBay auction of the Disneyland sign, with fourteen-foot-tall letters, which had stood at the entrance to the park for the past decade. He paid $30,700 for it.

What does a person do with a 14 ft tall Disneyland sign?
Could you please explain what isn't good from the list you give so i can understand why his place "is not all its cracked up to be."

Gwink- would you call either DeGrassi or Streetlegal a Sitcom?
2. For my trainer's fiancee's new sister-in-law. Similar question for Head of the Class.

Yes. Think of all the bad Beach Boys music you would have had to suffer through for the last 15 years. Brian Wilson's voice is not what it used to be.

From Gatti's site, and in reference to James Lipton:
  • Lipton, you pretentious, melodramatic ass, they are movies for shit’s sake. Let’s show a modicum of perspective here. You are talking to a movie star, not fucking Rembrandt.

Word. (Except for the fucking Rembrandt part -- that sounds a little creepy.)

ETA more words of wisdom from that site:
  • Teenagers are the second biggest group of assholes on the planet, bested only by old people.

7 years working with Bob Saget would be like death.

I suppose reading one of your posts while considering the question does help one visualize.

[joey lawrence] Whoa![/joey lawrence] My best friend from high school's cousin was also on Head of the Class and he's had a similar career trajectory.

Catch up with the curve. Bob Saget has totally redeemed himself recently with one line: "Don't fuck my daughters, Vince."

Maybe I'll try that:

dtb, even if you have a pretty mellow ass, remember they are internet posts for shit’s sake. Let’s show a modicum of perspective here. You are talking to an anon poster, not fucking Rembrandt.

There is no fucking way that one can call Derek Jeter overrated. Is he the best hitting shortstop in the game right now? He's pretty close to the top -- I don't think that anyone playing today has consistently had his combination of power and average. Is he the best fielding shortstop? No, but I'd put him in the top 5, easily. Is there anyone else who combines fielding with hitting the way he does? One of the contenders is playing third (A-Rod is probably a better hitter, not as good as a fielder) and the other has been hurt a lot lately (Nomah!).

And while he is consistent throughout the regular season, he is clutch in the playoffs. If anyone deserves to yank the title of Mister October from Reggie, it's Jeter. Year after year after year.

Bastard. I hate him.
Not to knock the above-mentioned fellas, but what about Miguel Tejada? Normally I would expect balt to stick up for him, but maybe he's been distracted lately.
