Try "y'all." It works fine in place of either. No need for dumb rules to remember.

Is it cool not to like Alanis? It must be, because I have a perfect track record of being always (and in all ways) uncool. I like her (I think the streak is safe.) Her last record wasn't my favorite, but there are 3 or 4 good songs.

Dude. That is fucked up.

Come on. Both sides know this, and the numbers are a fiction designed by agents to look good and players to show they are respected. Two things matter in an NFL contract. The signing bonus and the first 2-3 years of the contract. The last couple of years are always huge numbers thrown in for show. The restructuring is almost always over those last couple of years, which are 50-100% higher than the rest of the contract. So everyone knows it's fiction, and the restructuring is to get it back to where it should be.

(just say no)
I was wrong to call it a tense issue. Its really more a construction issue:

I start writing "You're suggesting 'slutiest' instead of 'sluttiest' has no authority behind it." I realize its bad form as I write.

Now, mid-thought, I shift and decide to instead go with "your suggested spelling." But I don't make the necessary switch from "you're" to "your."

The synpases misfire; I intend to say three or four different things and type as I think. The jumbled mess that emerges is Hank-like.

Jesus... did I just write that? Perhaps it is time to consider rehab...

No. I just can't deal with her anymore. I was beaten senseless - bloody - with her first disc by every disc jockey in the US. It didn't needed to be retreaded in acoustic form.

So what? The point is, when a player whose contract is not "where it should be" because they have outperformed the team's expectations holds out to get what they deserve, the team, fans (and ESPN, as not Bob pointed out) pull that "be a man and stick by your agreement" bullshit.

Don't even think that Philly is the only city living under that rule. I mean, beyond the WNBA (bfd) the last championship (and only I think) parade was in 1979.

Because both sides agreed to teh first couple of years knowing it was the contract. Both sides agreed to the last couple of years knowing it would be tossed by both sides, but was included as window dressing. You don't see players holding out over the last year, $15m part.

ETA: Oh, I get it now. You're just pissed at being an associate. If you bill loads of hours the partners pay you the same thing anyway, with maybe a token bonus. If you bill shite, you get canned.

Welcome to life.

I think you're suggested spelling could be pronounced "slootiest." Perhaps that will work in Canada, but I think Americans like their sluts with flat "u"s.
I think dtb, drunk and power-mad, has finally overstepped her bounds. "Slutiest" just doesn't work. Slooty, slooty, slooty. No good. Would you call the squirrelly sock nutiest? Is silly the putiest? Does Hank go to Epcot London and order the chip butiest? I think not.

I can't believe I have an opinion on anything related to football (is this a demon spawn?), but I agree. TO deserves criticism for many things, but not simply for trying to get a better deal.

And he did as much for the team as he did for himself.

This has been disproven in about a million different news sources. Apparently, the doctor he was seeing asked him to sign a release but the team never did.

It's like the magic loogie. The magic waiver. Didn't happen.

I am not drunk.

(I know not-drunk is a state of consciousness with which you have only a passing familiarity.)
