In terms of certain first names causing more trouble with that last name than others, what about Anita?
The name has to be something that makes many names sound bad, but not all. He said he was restricted, or something like that, implying there are some names that would be okay. "Dick" would be bad for all. Anita Dick would be worse than Sharon Dick, actually Sharon dick would be funny now that i say it again, so let me amend:

Sharon/Anita Dick would be worse than Sally or Polly or most other names, but there are no OK names to go with dick. The best thing you could do for a daughter, if your last name is dick, is to give her up for adoption.

My goodness, since when are you so Victorian? I can remember (and it was more recently than the 80's), when the plf I once knew would proudly and loudly order a "Double Anal with a Twist". Now it's just Mojito, Mojito, Mojito.

[wistful sigh]
Um, that wasn't a drink, dear.

Wow. Deadly cheese.

Usually my iced half-caf coffee with milk is one of the day's highlights.

I'm wondering if I should reassess my opinion of those awesome, awesome taco trucks behind the Airline Market. Or maybe just ask them not to put cheese on the gorditas. Queso fesco is awesome stuff, though.

That sludgy brown stuff may not be coffee. And the white stuff may not be milk. Maybe the ice numbs the tastebuds?

I eat raw cheese now and then. I don't think it's any more harmful than eating beef, which could give you mad cow, and apparently may give you antibiotic-resistant UTIs.

Or getting salmonella, or botulism, or E coli poisoning or mercury poisoning or whatever else you can get from food.

Well in that case it would at least get the "no caffeine during pregnancy!" fascists off my back.*

* They're not actually on my back. Nobody has ever given me a hard time about consuming caffeine. Except the authors of all those annoying books, but they can't see me. Nor can anyone else, because I drink it at home, hidden from public view, or I drink it from a non-transparent beverage holder. Or, I buy it where nobody knows I'm pregnant, but might merely think to themselves, if they give a collective damn, that I should lay off the whole milk, because it's bikini season, after all.

I think feces are contraindicated during pregnancy. Bacteria or something. Not sure whether feces or raw cheese would be more dangerous.

I imagine that there are a lot of risks associated from eating tacos from the trucks behind Airline market. The benefits totally and completly outweigh the risks though. I'm really, really hungry now

I recently read an article (I think in the Press) about health inspections on the taco trucks. I'm with you on the benefits, though. I should probably just stop reading.
