Blast from the Past

Back in late 2002 there was a weblog called "The Tard Blog." It was ostensibly written by an actual special education teacher, writing anonymously about her developmentally delayed students. I gather it was an underground sensation. It got lots of hate mail and a bit of love mail, but it kept some people entertained and (if real) kept a teacher or two from going insane.

It changed hands several times in the few months of its life and got taken down a while back, but some fans archived it and posted it here. I am told that the original Riti Sped posts are funny and occasionally touching, but the later Sarah Hammon posts are neither. YMMV.

I mention it not because of the writing merits of the blog, of which I am unsure, but because of the copyright notice at the bottom of the first entry here.
