So, I finally had a Not Boring dream last night.

(Recap for those who are new or for those who forgot -- I seldom dream, or, rather, I seldom remember my dreams. Lately I have been having boring realistic dreams that are exactly like real life -- I am in the office, working on a project for a case. And it's not even one of my real cases, so it's not like I'm getting any insights about work in my cases. End of recap -- pardon the interruption. Please continue.)

Anyway, a Not Boring dream. Unfortunately, it did not involve any combination of Ashley Judd, naked Twister, or [toe-sucking]. Instead, I was in bed with one of my partners (yes, she's a she, NTTAWWT) at her house. We weren't doing anything sexual, but it had an intimate feeling. Like we had just woken up, or something. Anyway, I get up (I have clothes on) and open the blinds, and then sit back down on the bed and am talking with the partner. (She is wearing a big shirt and shorts.) Her daughter and husband then come in the room, and the whole group of us continue the conversation.

Everyone but me seems to think that this is all perfectly normal. However, although I am acting like it is normal (talking with everyone, etc.), I know that it isn't, and wonder why no one seems surprised to see me sitting on my partner's bed first thing in the morning.

WTF? Theories and mockery (but only if it is amusing) welcomed.
You fucked her on compensation last year, you feel guilty but she's come to expect and accept it.

I think your wife would consider this cheating. You might as well follow up and enjoy the real thing.

Assuming this is a picture of a work colleague and not a convicted sex offender/teacher of young boys: Yes, no.

Anyway, does anyone have an analysis of the dream? (yes, hank, I got yours, and it's plausible in the abstract, but I don't think that was it) Anyone? Bueller?

You copied my dream of last week in which I was in bed, in a nonsexual way, with two partners from my firm (at different times). But I was in a hotel room rather than at the partner's house, so my dream was seedier.

Who's complaining? It was an innocent question. Today I am not wearing cranky pants, but rather a cheerful skirt.

Didn't that involve comments on your globes? That seems sexual.

ETA Ms. Crankypants is me b/c I am having to take some moron-level internet-based ethics thing, and because of certain people I have the "Goooood Iiiideeaaaa???" line going through my head fucking constantly.

If it was made by a person who was in the bed (or the room) then it indicates that the bedding was sexual, you were just ignorant/oblivious. Probably wilfully. You vixen.

Okay, it actually was sexual. At least with the second partner. I kept squeezing my arms against my sides to push my already impressive globes up further. And I winked at him. It was kind of like that Seinfeld episode when Elaine worked it with Bob Balaban.

Did I mention this partner has since left the firm to join Greenpeace?

It means that you're thinking bad thoughts and suppressing them. ONly to come out in your dreams. Because of the guilt you feel. Shameless flirting and playing schmoopie with a certain unnamed poster for the last several weeks. I am ashamed of you. The guilt you feel is obvious.

Justin and Cameron

Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake on the rocks. I hope it's over forever.

The two reportedly had a nasty public spat at an L.A. club earlier this month because of Timberlake’s roving eye, which ended up with Diaz in tears.

The couple’s fight was caused by Justin’s flirtatious behavior toward a “curvy blonde” who had been at the stars’ banquette at L.A.’s Spider Club on Aug. 5, according to the upcoming issue of In Touch Weekly. “The argument got so nasty that Cameron, 32, and Justin, 24, ended up leaving in separate cars,” according to the mag.

My dreams are always disjointed. I don’t recall last nite’s (Ketel One coma). But the previous nite’s involved me getting a hand job from some dirty blonde girl with a kicking body (don’t know why... I don’t prefer hand jobs). Then, suddenly, I was at an Indian wedding. Very colorful. Lots of people in formal Indian dress. Lots of great Indian food. I love that chicken with raisins in curry sauce. But there was no segueway... No explanation at all for how I’d gotten from the hand job to the wedding. And worse, I never got a name for the woman who gave me the hand job... And I don’t know whether I got a full happy ending. My dream was like cable porn - no money shot.

Weird. My dream about sunny's and ncs's babies was followed by one in which I was being followed home from the hospital (after having my baby) by a silver Hummer, the occupants of which I suspected were involved in causing a plane crash near Gravelly Point, which I witnessed on that same ride home. There is no explanation for how I got from giving you a hand job to being chased by the hummer.

ET clarify that the silver hummer is not the baby's daddy.

FASHION QUESTION & OBSERVATION

So, my question is: has anyone ever heard of a brand of jeans called "True Religion"? (or something like that). I just bought a pair and they are pretty rockin'. I've never heard of them, but I would like to know what celebrities, if any, wear them. NFH?

My observation is: I went to the shoe repair place at lunch, and the lady in front of me was picking up some shoes (expensive ones). She was well-groomed, and obviously takes care of her appearance. Well, this chick was wearing the hands-down ugliest dress I have ever seen. It was this icky green color, and looked as though it were made of cheap cotton, and had these cap sleeves made of some kind of organza or tulle or something, AND it didn't fit her well at all. It was all I could do not to pull her aside and say, "Honey -- that dress does nothing, nothing for you. It's a schmata. Don't ever wear it again. Do yourself a favor and throw it away."

I have never even considered giving that sort of officious advice. The dress was that bad.

paigowprincess 08-18-2005 03:25 PM

Mon Dieu! Its my NFH of the month

this could be a Merde! STP!!! situation, but I dont care.

The sheet saving technique is tricky. Its all about speed and positioning. Like Barry Sanders, in heavy traffic, the spin must be perfect...
